Agreement to these terms
By accessing Sparks Legacy Academy, purchasing a course, requesting enrollment, or using any course materials, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the site on behalf of an agency or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
These terms may be updated as the platform, checkout flow, and course delivery system are finalized. The version posted on this page will show the latest update date. We will notify users of any material changes via email.
Educational and compliance disclaimer
Sparks Legacy Academy provides Medicare and Social Security education for agents, brokers, agencies, and related professionals. Course content is provided for training and general educational purposes only.
The courses do not provide legal, tax, financial planning, investment, government benefits, or individualized enrollment advice. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the material, Medicare and Social Security rules change frequently. Learners are solely responsible for verifying current rules, statutory requirements, and CMS guidelines, and applying independent professional judgment to each client situation. Any case studies or scenarios presented are illustrative and do not guarantee a specific financial or professional outcome.
Intellectual property, copyright protection, and access restrictions
All course content, videos, audio clips, graphics, lesson structures, text, downloadable worksheets, and materials provided on this platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Sparks Legacy Academy and are fully protected by United States and international copyright laws. All rights are reserved. You are explicitly notified that this information has a registered copyright and cannot be duplicated, copied, or reproduced in any form.
Individual purchases are intended for one learner unless a different seat arrangement is stated at purchase. Agency purchases are intended for the number of seats purchased or quoted. Learners are granted only a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to view the materials for individual training purposes.
Under no circumstances may learners share login credentials, distribute course materials, copy lessons, duplicate content, resell access, or use academy materials to build a competing course or training product. Sparks Legacy Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately, without prior notice and without refund, for any user who violates these copyright and access rules. We also reserve the right to pursue full legal remedies for copyright infringement against any individual or organization that duplicates our content.
User-generated content and community conduct
Our platform may include forums, comment sections, or community areas. By posting content, you grant Sparks Legacy Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use your posts for educational purposes.
You agree not to post any material that is defamatory, offensive, promotional (spam), or infringing on intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to monitor, edit, or remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Payments and monthly access
Course pricing may include one-time course fees, required monthly access fees, agency seat pricing, custom quotes, taxes, and third-party payment processing terms. Pricing is subject to change. The price displayed at checkout is the price you will be charged.
Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. Sparks Legacy Academy does not store full payment card details; all transactions are handled securely by our payment processors.
Cancellation and refund policy
For subscription-based monthly access fees, you may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least three (3) business days before your renewal date.
All sales of one-time course purchases, bundles, and digital products are strictly non-refundable once any course materials, videos, or downloads have been accessed, viewed, or utilized.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sparks Legacy Academy, its founders, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of or inability to use the course materials, or from any business decisions made based on the educational content provided. In no event shall our total liability exceed the total amount you paid to Sparks Legacy Academy in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Governing law and binding arbitration
These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or relating to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, shall be settled exclusively by binding arbitration in the State of Kansas, rather than in court. You and Sparks Legacy Academy agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
